The Role

Innovapptive is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Director / Vice President of Marketing to own a few areas of marketing and sales development. Reporting directly to the CMO, you will be responsible for helping developing and executing the overall marketing strategy, overseeing Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Design, and our Sales Development Representative (SDR) team. Your focus will be on driving brand awareness, generating and qualifying leads, supporting customer expansion, and positioning Innovapptive as a leader in the space, primarily within the US market. You will lead and grow a high-performing team, manage the marketing and SDR budgets, and work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success leadership to ensure alignment and drive predictable revenue growth.

  • Marketing Strategy & Leadership: Define and lead the overall marketing strategy for Innovapptive, aligned with company goals and revenue targets, with a strong focus on the US market.
  • Team Leadership & Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team encompassing Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Design, and the Sales Development Representative (SDR) function. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across these disciplines.
  • Demand Generation & SDR Management: Develop and execute multi-channel demand generation strategies and campaigns. Directly manage or oversee the SDR team, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns, optimizing outreach processes, and driving the generation of qualified pipeline for the sales team.
  • Product Marketing Oversight: Provide strategic direction for Product Marketing, ensuring clear product narratives, effective go-to-market strategies for new launches, compelling messaging, and support for product adoption and expansion goals.
  • Content Strategy & Execution: Oversee the Content Marketing strategy, ensuring the creation of high-quality, engaging content across various formats that educates the market, supports the buyer journey, and aligns with product messaging and demand generation goals.
  • Design & Brand Consistency: Lead the Design function, ensuring all visual assets, website design, collateral, and marketing materials are on-brand, visually compelling, and effectively communicate our value proposition. Maintain brand consistency across all internal and external communications.
  • Brand & Positioning: Refine and strengthen Innovapptive's brand identity, messaging, and positioning in the market. Ensure consistent brand representation across all touchpoints managed by the team.
  • Customer Marketing & Advocacy: Develop strategies to engage existing customers, drive adoption, support upsell/cross-sell efforts, and cultivate customer advocates and a thriving community.
  • Budget Management: Own and manage the marketing and SDR budgets effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Performance Measurement & Reporting: Define key marketing and SDR KPIs, establish reporting mechanisms, and regularly analyze performance data to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and inform future strategies. Report on results to the executive team.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to inform marketing strategy and positioning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships and collaboration with Sales Leadership (beyond just SDRs), Product, Customer Success, and other departments to ensure a unified go-to-market approach and seamless handoffs between marketing, SDRs, and sales.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • 15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in B2B SaaS, with a significant portion in a Director-level role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drove measurable revenue growth in a high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or overseeing multiple marketing functions, including Product Marketing, Content Marketing, and Design.
  • Experience managing or working closely with a Sales Development Representative (SDR) team, understanding lead qualification, outreach strategies, and sales handoff processes.
  • Deep understanding of demand generation best practices, integrated campaign execution, and marketing technology stacks (CRM, MAP, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define KPIs, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing departmental budgets and demonstrating ROI.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading marketing and SDR functions at a SaaS company at a similar stage of growth ($10M - $100M ARR).
Proven experience in marketing primarily to the US market.
Experience implementing or optimizing marketing automation and CRM systems.
